- Develop and optimize photonic soldering and curing applications for electronic assemblies, including SMT reflow, component bonding, and interconnect formation
- Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to refine process conditions, enhance yield, and reduce cycle times
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to translate R&D outcomes into design-for-manufacturing (DFM) ready processes and prototypes
- Generate detailed technical documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and application notes
- Interface with EMS customers and contract manufacturers to support pilot runs, technical evaluations, and process troubleshooting
- Lead and manage internal development projects from concept to validation, including system-level testing and data-driven analysis.
- Maintain laboratory safety and equipment calibration; follow cleanroom and ESD best practices where required
- Support prototype tool qualification and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for system performance and reliability
- Participate in external technical discussions, customer demos, and onsite installation or support visits (up to 20% travel)
- Work directly with engineers and technicians to capture and document the design intent of mechanical assemblies
- Create 3d exploded models, 2d drawings, and work instructions for existing products
- Create 2d drawings of existing point-to-point wiring and cable designs
- Apply standards of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Understand and implement principles of Design for Manufacturability
- Restructure and maintain Bills of Material for manufacturing efficiency
- Work hands-on with as-built prototypes and manufactured articles to record manufacturing and inspection steps
- Work in an office environment with frequent communications with the manufacturing floor

- Maintain inventory on the manufacturing floor and resolve any issues
- Continuously maintain a list of depleted items and recommend a survey of defective or unusable items
- Work with the shipping administrator to prepare products for shipping

Production Management
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely product output
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet demand
- Establish and maintain detailed and accurate cost-based production reporting processes & procedures for management’s use, and communicate these processes clearly to departments and teams
- Monitor and refine production processes, adjust schedules as needed, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols so all products meet company standards
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production lines
- Address and resolve quality issues promptly with the Director of Manufacturing Quality
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff and engineers
Team Leadership

Subcontract Work
- Manage subcontract work to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and ensure quality standards are met
- Integrate subcontract work seamlessly with in-house production
- Monitor and manage supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build accurate demand forecasts and supply plans
- Analyze inventory levels and recommend actions to optimize stock and reduce shortages/excess
- Maintain and update data within the Odoo ERP system; generate reports for planning and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, lead times, and delivery performance
- Identify and help resolve supply chain bottlenecks or inefficiencies
- Assist in developing and refining SOPs for supply chain processes

- The Global Logistics Specialist will be the subject matter expert for global freight and logistics for all PulseForge Inc.’s locations worldwide
- This role is responsible for supporting domestic and international logistics activities required to successfully deliver specialty glass products (panels and wafers) in an efficient and compliant manner around the globe while meeting customer-specific requirements
- Additionally, the Global Logistics Specialist will work diligently to ensure that documentation, compliance, and logistics functions are executed professionally, timely, and proficiently
- Ensures the timely delivery of goods and documents, necessitating accuracy, comprehension, and precise proofreading to effectively support the delivery of goods to customers
- Serves as liaison between internal customer base and external logistics providers, providing quotes, arranging freight, communicating logistics protocols, and providing instructions to customers and logistics partners
- Monitor, track, and communicate shipment status for all product movement and customer orders
- Ensure on-time delivery throughout the logistics process
- Utilize appropriate shipping methods (FCL, LCL, FTL, LTL, air, intermodal, rail, ocean, etc.) to maximize service and minimize cost
- Support weekend emergency orders on an as-needed basis
- Ensures international shipments meet all regulatory and corporate guidelines
- Manage certificate of origin submission activity
- Participate in the development and publishing of internal and external procedure documents related to Global logistics
- Keep accurate records of documentation related to international trade, including but not limited to: shipping costs, tariffs, and duties.
- Keep accurate records for all accounting and warehouse-related functions: ie. Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold
- Help build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors; communicate with them regularly and negotiate pricing to minimize costs
- Code and approve freight bills for the Accounting Department’s payment process in our ERP System
- Proactively hunt for new sales opportunities and close deals
- Develop and execute a strategic approach to outbound prospecting and lead generation
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target industries
- Present and demonstrate PulseForge products and their competitive advantages
- Stay on top of industry trends and competitor movements to identify market opportunities
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to leadership

- Assemble signal and control enclosures
- Electrical component assembly; multi-conductor cable assembly, wire harness assembly
